What Is "Sideloading"?

Because Amazon doesn't host independent IPTV players (like TiviMate) in their official Appstore, we have to bypass it using a safe method called sideloading.

Is Sideloading Safe and Legal?

Yes! "Sideloading" simply means installing an app directly from the internet rather than through the Amazon Appstore. The apps we recommend (Smarters Pro, TiviMate) are widely trusted media players. Installing them is 100% legal and does not void your Amazon warranty.

Unlock Developer Options

Amazon recently hid the Developer Options menu to stop people from sideloading. Here is the secret trick to bring it back:

  1. From the Firestick Home Screen, go to the gear icon ⚙️ (Settings) on the far right.
  2. Scroll down and select My Fire TV.
  3. Click on About.
  4. Highlight the first option (usually named Fire TV Stick 4K or similar).
  5. CRITICAL STEP: Click the center "Select" button on your remote 7 times very fast.
  6. A small notification at the bottom will say: "No need, you are already a developer."
  7. Press the back button once. You will now see Developer Options beneath "About".
  8. Click Developer Options > Install Unknown Apps (or 'Apps from Unknown Sources') and turn it ON.
Note: If you already see "Developer Options" in your settings, you can skip steps 3-6!

Get the 'Downloader' App

Downloader is an official Amazon app that acts as a web browser. It allows us to type in a shortcode and download the IPTV app directly.

  • Go back to the Firestick Home Screen.
  • Highlight the Find icon (magnifying glass) and click Search.
  • Type in "Downloader".
  • Click the orange app icon named Downloader.
  • Click Download or Get to install it.
  • Once installed, click Open. (Click "Allow" when it asks for access to photos/media).

Sideload the IPTV Player

Now we will use Downloader to pull the installation file (APK) of the IPTV player. We recommend IPTV Smarters Pro for beginners, or TiviMate for advanced users.

  1. In the Downloader app, click the URL bar on the Home tab.
  2. Type in one of the following shortcodes depending on the app you want:
    • 🔥 For IPTV Smarters Pro enter: 78081
    • 👑 For TiviMate Premium enter: 28907
    • 🎬 For Smarter 8K App enter: Contact Support
  3. Click Go. A redirect page will appear, and the file will start downloading.
  4. When the download finishes, a prompt will appear. Click Install.
  5. Once installed, click Done (not Open). You can delete the installation file to save space on your Firestick.

Note: If Amazon prompts you again for "Install Unknown Apps" permission specifically for the Downloader app, turn it ON and press back to resume the installation.

Log In with Xtream Codes

Your IPTV player is an empty shell. To get channels, movies, and series, you must log in using the details provided by your IPTV subscription (like Smarter 8K).

  • Go to your Firestick Home Screen > Your Apps & Channels.
  • Open your newly installed app (e.g., Smarters Pro).
  • Accept terms, and select Login with Xtream Codes API.
  • Enter the following details:
    • Any Name: Smarter 8K
    • Username: (Sent to your email after purchase)
    • Password: (Sent to your email after purchase)
    • URL: (Sent to your email after purchase)
  • Click Add User. The app will download the TV Guide (EPG), and you are ready to stream!
